dedication, us shelter pups are nice and healthy!

Most of Hearts for Hounds dogs come from local area shelters, where they have stayed their term and have no other place to go. We bring them into Hearts for Hounds and give them the care and treatment that they need and deserve, and have them spayed or neutered. We then place them on the "Available" page with hopes that someone like you will see them to be as special as we see each and every one.

Hearts for Hounds is a volunteer based organization; many of the volunteers have regular full time jobs and donate their time and effort when they can. Taking care of the dogs remains our top priority and requires many hours of time. Please be patient with us if we take a little time in responding to your questions.
